What I learned today was that I want to be an elite athlete. I watched Wyatt play football with Daddy and I want to do that too. Basically, Wyatt hikes the ball to Daddy, who runs around the house with Wyatt chasing him. Then Wyatt tackles him and there’s a fumble and then they scramble for it and eventually Wyatt gets it and scores a touchdown and then does a dance. I saw this whole thing go down from my exersaucer and cheered Wyatt on. But what I was really doing was getting my muscles ready for when I hit the gridiron. I don’t want to just play. I want to excel. I want to be the best linebacker ever. I want to drive through Daddy, make him feel that he’s been hit, slam him to the ground, cause a fumble, rip it from him and then dive into the end zone and then, maybe, just maybe, do a Lambeau Leap onto the dining room table.
And then tweet about it.
